In the world of Pokémon, few creatures are as visually striking as Onix, the massive rock serpent known as the Rock Snake Pokémon. Made entirely of boulder-like segments, Onix tunnels through the earth at incredible speeds and has become one of the most recognizable Rock-type Pokémon in the series.

Its intimidating eyes and massive size give it a fearsome presence, especially in caves and underground tunnels where it lives.

  • Rocky terrains

It digs through the ground at over 80 km/h (about 50 mph), leaving huge tunnels behind.
